Berserk Manga chapter 109
In chapter 109, Jill is still considering Rosine’s offer to become one of the elves when Puck secretly finds her and tries to convince her to leave the Misty Valley. Jill explains that she prefers the valley because it feels freer and happier than her village, where she fears becoming like her unhappy mother or cruel father. Puck then points out that Rosine’s “elves” are not truly harmless. Jill watches them playing what seems like a game of war, only to realize that they are actually fighting and killing one another. Seeing the bodies of the transformed children destroys her belief that the valley is a paradise, so Jill and Puck run away as the elves begin chasing them.
