In chapter 116, Rosine is barely able to move after her battle with Guts, but she still tries to return to the place she once considered home. Guts reaches her and prepares to finish the fight, but Jill desperately protects Rosine, making him hesitate. Before Guts can act, Zepek shoots him, while Farnese orders the Holy Iron Chain Knights to drive him away because they mistakenly believe he is attacking two innocent girls. Guts is forced to retreat, leaving Rosine behind. Rosine then remembers her parents and decides to go home.
