Berserk Manga Chapter 129
In chapter 129, Guts returns to Godot’s home and is warmly welcomed by Erica and Rickert after being away for two years. Rickert has grown into a skilled blacksmith under Godot and is surprised to see how much Guts has changed. When Guts asks about Casca, Rickert reveals that she disappeared about a month earlier after Erica allowed her to leave the cave. Guts becomes furious, but Erica reminds him that he also left Casca and Rickert alone for two years. Godot then explains that Guts’ relentless pursuit of revenge is slowly destroying him. He tells Guts that his anger has replaced his grief and that he has been using revenge to avoid facing the loss of the Band of the Hawk.
