Berserk Manga Chapter 148
In chapter 148, Guts finally reaches Casca just as the Great Goat is about to take her away. Seeing each other again after two years, Guts and Casca briefly recognize one another, but there is no time for a proper reunion because the transformed Goat immediately attacks. Guts places himself between Casca and the creature and begins fighting it while the Holy Iron Chain Knights retreat from the collapsing cave. Isidro, Puck, and Nina manage to get Casca away from the main battle and search for an escape route. Meanwhile, Guts realizes that the Goat is far stronger than the ordinary enemies he has faced and prepares to use his new equipment against it.
