Berserk Manga Chapter 149
In chapter 149, Guts continues his battle with the Great Goat inside the cave. The creature moves extremely fast, repeatedly avoiding Guts’ crossbow attacks by jumping across the walls and ceiling. Guts realizes that ordinary attacks are not enough, so he uses one of Rickert’s newly developed explosive devices. The blast severely injures the Goat, giving Guts the opening he needs to finish the fight. Afterward, Guts heads toward the cave’s exit and encounters Serpico on a narrow cliffside path. Because there is almost no room to maneuver, Serpico gains a major tactical advantage and begins attacking Guts with his rapier. Meanwhile, Isidro manages to lower Nina and Casca down the cliff using a rope, while a mysterious figure watches the entire scene from the shadows.
