Berserk Manga Chapter 118
In chapter 118, the story shifts back to Guts after the events in the Misty Valley. The Skull Knight visits the remains of Rosine’s home and retrieves her Beherit before leaving the area. Meanwhile, Guts travels alone through the forest, exhausted and struggling with the darkness growing inside him. Strange spirits surround him and take the form of a beast, telling him that his hatred and desire for revenge could eventually turn him into a monster like Griffith. Guts attacks the apparition but collapses from exhaustion. Puck eventually finds him and drives the spirits away. After waking, Guts chooses to continue his path toward Griffith, while Puck decides to stay with him and becomes a permanent companion on his journey.
