Berserk Manga chapter 239
In chapter 239, a strange fog rolls in around the cabin, and Guts’ Brand starts bleeding, warning the group that something is approaching. A group of crocodile-like creatures attacks, but Schierke realizes they are familiars being controlled by magic users. Guts, Serpico and Isidro fight them while Schierke prepares a powerful protective spell. Guts struggles with the Beast of Darkness because of his weakened condition, but Serpico eventually finds the four Kushan sorcerers controlling the creatures and defeats them, causing the crocodiles to return to normal.
