Berserk Manga Chapter 130
In chapter 130, Guts spends the night inside the cave where Casca once stayed and reflects on everything that has happened since the Eclipse. Rickert’s sword-graves make him realize that, unlike him, Rickert has slowly accepted the loss of the Band of the Hawk. Guts remembers the final moments of his former companions and understands that avenging them is not really his responsibility. The Beast of Darkness appears again, tempting him to return to his endless cycle of killing and revenge, but Guts resists. He finally admits to himself that Casca is the person who kept him from completely losing himself. Instead of continuing his hunt for Griffith, he decides that his priority should be finding Casca and making sure she is safe.
