In Berserk manga chapter 22, Guts and Casca talk about their place in the Band of the Hawk after surviving the recent battle. Guts explains that every member of the group has a dream of their own, while he feels that his own dream lies somewhere outside Griffith’s. Casca realizes that Guts may eventually leave the Band of the Hawk, although he promises to stay until their current campaign is over. The chapter then shifts to the battle for Doldrey, where Midland faces the powerful Tudor forces and the Holy Purple Rhino Knights.
