Berserk Manga Chapter 140
In chapter 140, Luca finds Nina deeply upset after the events in the cave and tries to calm her down, reminding her that she is not beyond saving. Meanwhile, the men from the underground gathering discover Casca alone. At first they leave her alone because they believe she is sick and mentally unstable, but one of them removes her bandages and realizes that she is not disfigured or ill as they had assumed. Casca’s Brand becomes visible, triggering painful memories of the Eclipse and causing her to panic. Her cries attract supernatural spirits, which possess the men and turn them against one another. The Demon Child then appears and drives the spirits away from Casca. The surviving members of the group become convinced that Casca is a supernatural witch and begin treating her with fear and reverence.
