Berserk Manga Chapter 94
In Berserk manga chapter 94, the apostle that has been tracking Guts finally attacks Godo’s home. Guts immediately confronts the creature and begins his first real hunt as the Black Swordsman. His new sword proves too weak against the apostle, so Guts uses his mechanical arm and cannon to weaken it before taking up the enormous Dragon Slayer. With the Dragon Slayer, Guts finally defeats the apostle. Afterwards, Rickert asks Guts to stay with Casca, but Guts refuses and leaves to hunt apostles in the hope of eventually reaching Griffith. This marks the beginning of his Black Swordsman journey.
